"Commons Movements: Self-organised (re)production as a socio-ecological transformation"

Degrowth is not just a new term for an ongoing discussion on alternatives, and not just an academic debate, but also an emerging social movement. In 32 essays, representatives of different social movements, currents or initiatives discuss the relation between the degrowth movement and other social movements and perspectives. The texts are published together with images, as well as audio and video recordings.

Co-authors Johannes Euler and BIGSSS affiliated fellow Leslie Gauditz contribute to the essay collection with a paper on "Commons Movements: Self-organised (re)production as a socio-ecological transformation". The German book was published by oekom verlag.

More info on the project and all 32 essays can be found on the degrowth website.
