On February 1, BIGSSS welcomed nine BIGSSS-departs fellows of our new EU COFUND PhD program and one Affiliated fellow. All ten new fellows already had an intense and fun orientation week and are now starting the preparatory forum in social sciences methods which traditionally serves as the kick off to the first semester of dissertation work at BIGSSS.

This cohort of February 2017 will be joined by eleven more BIGSSS-departs PhD fellows in September 2017.
