We are happy to announce that Mandi Larsen has accepted the offer to become BIGSSS’ new Coordinator of the Methods Center. She takes this post following on Özen Odag, who recently accepted a professorship in Berlin.

Some might remember Mandi Larsen as she completed her PhD in Sociology at BIGSSS in 2015. She acquired her Master of Public Health degree from Columbia University in 2004, and her undergraduate degrees in Sociology and Psychology from Seattle Pacific University in 1999. Previous to starting as the Methods Center Coordinator, she worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow for the Social Cohesion Radar. Besides her affinity to methods (both qualitative and quantitative), her research interests cover Health inequalities, Gender inequalities and Social Policy.

Please contact Mandi directly for office hours and any other questions on the Methods Center.

Welcome to our team, Mandi!
