Two Open Positions in the DIFIS-SOFO Campus and Career Competence Center

The newly established DIFIS-SOFO Collaborative Research Center at the University of Bremen is currently recruiting for two academic coordination positions within its Campus and Career Competence Center. DIFIS-SOFO is funded by the German Federal Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs and investigates the social and social-policy implications of key technologies and major societal transformations.
Both positions contribute directly to the development of doctoral and postdoctoral education within DIFIS-SOFO and are closely linked to the Bremen International Graduate School of Social Sciences (BIGSSS), with which the center cooperates in the design and delivery of structured graduate training and career development activities.

Academic Program Coordinator (TV-L 13, 75%)

This position focuses on the development, management, and continuous enhancement of the DIFIS-SOFO graduate program. Responsibilities include advising and supporting doctoral researchers, coordinating structured doctoral education in cooperation with BIGSSS, and contributing to the quality assurance of graduate training activities.

Coordinator of Education Programs (TV-L 13, 50%)

This position focuses on the design and implementation of continuing education, mentoring, and supervision structures for doctoral and postdoctoral researchers. The role includes organizing workshops, seminars, and other academic events, as well as developing innovative training formats in cooperation with BIGSSS and other DIFIS-SOFO partners.
