We are pleased to announce that Anisha Elama, Senior Research Fellow in the Department of Humanities and Social Sciences at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee, India, has joined BIGSSS as a Visiting PhD Fellow. Anisha specializes in Leader-Member Exchange and Employee Silence within the field of Organizational Behavior, and her extensive research has been recognized on both national and international platforms.
Anisha's work has earned her notable recognitions, including the Best Paper Award at the International HR Conference Cum Conclave 2023 at the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Jammu. Her research has also been featured in the proceedings of the 44th Eurasian Business and Economic Society (EBES) Conference and the 17th Annual EuroMed Academy of Business Conference.
Research Collaboration at BIGSSS
During her visiting fellowship at BIGSSS, Anisha will be collaborating on a project titled "Cross-cultural Insights into Leader-Member Exchange and Employee Silence: Exploring Organizational Citizenship Behavior as a Mediator in the Indian and German IT Work Sectors," under the supervision of cross-cultural psychology expert Prof. Dr. Ulrich Kühnen.
Having completed the data collection in India, Anisha is now focusing on collecting comparative data in Germany. This cross-cultural approach is critical to deepening the understanding of leadership and employee dynamics in diverse organizational settings. By examining these dynamics in the Indian and German IT sectors, her research promises to provide valuable perspectives worldwide.
We warmly welcome Anisha to BIGSSS and look forward to the valuable contributions her research will bring to the academic community.
