Dr. Klaus Boehnke, BIGSSS faculty Member, former Vice-Dean and Professor of Social Science Methodology at Constructor University in Bremen, has been honored with the Ralph K. White Lifetime Achievement Award for his life's work and his significant contributions to peace psychology. The award was presented by the American Psychological Association (APA), the world's largest professional organization of psychologists.

"The award means a lot to me because it reflects my dedication to my research and its importance for society at large," said Boehnke, who has recently attracted public attention for his intercultural research on social cohesion in Germany and on diversity and inequality. His studies on xenophobia and right-wing extremism have also been widely discussed.
