BIGSSS (again) successful in the DAAD Graduate School Scholarship Program › view all

Once again, a BIGSSS proposal on "Global Dynamics of Social Policy and Social Cohesion" (GSPSC)" has been positively evaluated in the DAAD Graduate Scholars Program (GSSP). This is the second time after 2020's GloWel proposal  that we have been successful in this funding line, and we are very pleased that this repeated achievement will allow us to build a cohort of at least six active GSSP Fellows in the coming years. 

In 2023 and 2024, two attractive fellowships (48 months) will again be offered annually, all four positions in the thematic intersection of the FGZ Bremen, Jacob's University's social sciences, the CRC 1342, the reserach training group SELF, and many research programs of SOCIUM colleagues. We are very optimistic about further strengthening doctoral education in this important focus area of Bremen's social sciences.
