The Bremen International Graduate School of Social Sciences (BIGSSS), an inter-university institution of the University of Bremen (UB) and Constructor University (CU) devoted to structured PhD education, invites applications for a position as 

Senior Coordinator of the Deans' Office (m/f/d)

(part-time, 30.8 hours/week, limited to 24 months)

The Senior Coordinator of the Deans’ Office is responsible for the efficient organization of all aspects of the workflows of the BIGSSS' leadership. The Senior Coordinator will have offices at both campuses and is expected to be available at both locations of BIGSSS. Close cooperation with all levels of the administrations of both universities is required. The employer of this position is Constructor University.

Your responsibilities:

• Comprehensive support of the Dean, the Vice Dean, and BIGSSS’ Managing Director in
  • public relations, communications and marketing,
  • administrative project management of funded graduate programs (DFG, EU),
  • planning and organizing of academic events,
• documenting and organizing of all operational procedures of BIGSSS,
• administrative operations of BIGSSS’ Constructor branch,
• coordination of organizational workflows between UB and Constructor University.

Your qualifications:

• Academic background with at least a master's degree (ideally in a field related to BIGSSS).
• Preferably experienced in one or more of the following areas: higher education / science management or science funding acquisition, project management and data analysis.
• Very good teamwork skills, flexibility and resilience
• Excellent MS Office Skills
• Experienced in digital communication and the usage of collaborative work platforms
• A cooperative personality, open to engage in new topics
• Excellent communication skills in English and German (spoken and written)
