About
Bernd Theilen is professor at Universitat Rovira i Virgili (URV). He has a PhD in Economics from the Christian-Albrechts University of Kiel. In his thesis he analyzed contract and organizational design under asymmetric information.
He has published articles in international journals on topics such as contract and organizational design under asymmetric information, information exchange in oligopoly and international comparisons of health care expenditure. He also has participated in several projects of knowledge transfer such as, for example, a cost-benefit analysis of the connection of the Port of Tarragona to the European Railway System.
