Oliver Buntrock is a Ph.D. Fellow at the Bremen International Graduate School of Social Sciences at the University of Bremen since 2004. He studied Political Science, Contemporary History, and Constitutional and Public International Law at the University of Augsburg and the Technical University of Munich.  His research interests are international institutions and organizations, European Union, multi-level governance, micro-institutionalization, institutional theories, and applications of game theory. His research focuses on the intersection between International Relations and Comparative Politics. He investigates how the solution of social problems can be accomplished within cross-national multilevel governance systems.
