BIGSSS Summer School 2010

From April 29 to May 1 2010 BIGSSS held its second internal Summer School at Gut Ankelohe in Bad Bederkesa. All PhD Fellows of the 2009 cohort presented their proposals in cross-field groups with almost equally many members of faculty, which gave them the opportunity to discuss questions with and get feedback from a broad range of people drawing on BIGSSS' interdisciplinary set-up. Interdisciplinarity also was the underlying or overarching topic of the summer school. The BIGSSS distinguished professor Ronald Inglehart gave the keynote speech on "Changing Human Values and Changing Societies".
