BIGSSS welcomes new cohort of Ph.D. fellows

The second cohort of BIGSSS fellows joined our graduate school on 1 September 2009. Faculty, staff and, last but not least, the older fellows welcome our 26 Ph.D. fellows and 5 postdoctoral fellows coming from 11 nations. They were chosen out of 272 applications for Ph.D. positions and 212 applications for postdoctoral fellowships in a highly competitive application process.
