Bremen is fairly easy to reach, be it by car, by train (express trains from the Deutsche Bahn link Bremen comfortably to much of Germany), or by air (Bremen airport is directly linked to the major European cities and to the main European hubs).
By car, it takes about 15 minutes to get from one university to the other. If you use public transportation it will take you about an hour.

from Bremen's main railway station, take tram No 6 at Hauptbahnhof (Bstg. E) towards Universität and get off at Universität Zentralbereich (the tram runs approximately every 10 minutes; the trip takes about 14 minutes); from here it is about a minute walk to the FVG, the building where BIGSSS is located
By air
if you arrive at Bremen Airport, take tram No 6 at Flughafen and get off at Universität Zentralbereich (the tram runs approximately every 10 minutes; the trip takes about 30 minutes); from here it is about a minute walk to the FVG, the building where BIGSSS is located
