This interdisciplinary research group seeks to illuminate the multi-faceted nature of social inclusion and exclusion in contemporary Europe via different research angles and theoretical approaches. We deal with both the current theoretical discourse on inclusion and exclusion as well as issues which are at stake in Europe, today, such as citizenship, migration, regionalisation and civil society participation.
